Gift Palace India is a family-run crystal and gemstone house with two showrooms in Chanakyapuri, New Delhi. We have been selecting stones by hand since 1989.

Where it began
A crystal shop that grew up in a diplomatic enclave
Gift Palace India opened in 1989 in Chanakyapuri — Delhi's diplomatic quarter. Our founder, Sanjay Gupta, started it on a straightforward conviction: that natural gemstones carry energy and intention, and that people deserve to be sold the real thing.
What began as gemstone necklaces and fine silver jewellery grew into a workshop of its own. Sanjay built a silver manufacturing unit and began producing handcrafted silver pieces set with semi-precious stones — work we still do in-house today rather than buying in finished stock.
One showroom became two, both in Chanakyapuri. The early customers were diplomats, their families, and collectors who asked precise questions about where a stone came from and what had been done to it. That set the standard we still work to.
Natural gemstones are not just beautiful. They carry energy, intention, and the wisdom of the earth. Our job is simply to bring them to you, exactly as nature made them.

- The first counter opens. Sanjay Gupta begins trading in Chanakyapuri, New Delhi.

- GJEPC membership. We join the Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council, the trade body set up under India's Ministry of Commerce & Industry — and have held membership continuously since.

- The catalogue goes online. Thirty years of showroom stock opens up to customers across India.
- Today
- The next generation, formally trained. Ritik Aggarwal now runs the business and has completed the Graduate Diamonds diploma at the Gemological Institute of America.

GIA does not certify people, businesses or gemstones. This is a personal academic diploma held by Ritik Aggarwal and does not imply any affiliation with, or endorsement by, the Gemological Institute of America.
The Graduate Diamonds diploma is a diamond grading qualification: colour, clarity, cut, carat weight, and — the part that matters most on a shop floor — how to spot treatments, synthetics and simulants under magnification.
Most of what we sell is not diamond. It is amethyst, rose quartz, citrine, tourmaline, labradorite, carved pieces and malas. But the discipline transfers directly: know what you are holding, describe it in the terms the trade actually uses, and never let a hopeful assumption stand in for an examination.
In practice it means when you ask us whether a stone is natural, dyed, heated or reconstituted, you get a straight answer — and if we are not certain, we say that too.

Stones are described as they are
If a piece is dyed, heated, coated or reconstituted, that belongs in the listing — not in a footnote. Treatment is normal in this trade. Hiding it is not.
Made in our own workshop
Our silver jewellery is produced in the manufacturing unit the business built for itself, set with semi-precious stones we bought ourselves — not sourced as finished stock.
Natural stones vary — we say so
Colour, banding and inclusions differ piece to piece. That variation is the point of a natural stone, and we would rather set that expectation than manage a return.
Healing traditions, honestly framed
We share what crystal traditions say about a stone because our customers value it. We present it as tradition and belief, not as medical treatment.

Questions we get asked
Before you buy
Is Gift Palace India GIA certified?
No business is, and no stone is. GIA does not certify people, companies or gemstones — it issues grading reports on stones submitted to its laboratory, and academic diplomas to individuals who complete its courses. Our owner, Ritik Aggarwal, holds the GIA Graduate Diamonds diploma. Any shop advertising itself as “GIA certified” is using the term incorrectly.
What does “GJEPC Member since 1990” mean?
The Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council is the industry body established under India's Ministry of Commerce & Industry to represent gem and jewellery businesses. Membership means we are a registered, verifiable trade participant — not an anonymous online seller. We have held it continuously since 1990.
Are your crystals and gemstones natural?
The overwhelming majority are natural stones. Where a piece has been dyed, heated, coated or reconstituted — all standard practices in this trade — we state it in the product listing. If a listing is unclear, message us on WhatsApp before ordering and we will check the specific piece.
Do your products come with a certificate?
Individual laboratory reports are not issued as standard on crystal and gemstone décor pieces — the cost of a report often exceeds the value of the stone. For higher value gemstones, ask us before you order and we will tell you what documentation is available for that piece.
Do you make your own jewellery?
Yes. The business runs its own silver manufacturing unit, where our silver jewellery is handcrafted and set with semi-precious gemstones. Carved sculptures, raw specimens and loose stones are sourced directly from suppliers we buy from ourselves.
